Dr. John Wennergren is a general surgeon who has been practicing in Utah for nearly a decade. Born and raised in Logan, Utah, Dr. Wennergren discovered his passion for surgery early in life. He earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University, attended medical school in Colorado, and completed his general surgery residency in Indiana.
He then pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery in Kentucky before returning to Utah. Dr. Wennergren treats a broad range of conditions, including gallbladder disease, hernias, appendicitis, diverticulitis, and colon cancer. He also performs bariatric surgery for weight loss and specializes in procedures for heartburn and acid reflux. Known for his compassionate care and expertise in minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Wennergren is committed to helping patients regain their health with as little recovery time as possible. He lives in Utah with his wife and four children.
